Hmmmm writing this a bit late, on our day off. I can write about that lol. Yesterday was our long day, 80miles plus. Started early to beat the heat but my front wheel finally gave in after making lots of noise all day. I was about half way out maybe and had to get the van back with my spare wheel. Nightmare

Great day though, lots to see and eat. Some amazing chateaus. we came across the old British cars again, well, different ones than were out the camp site, but must be part of the same group. Some of the towns seem to play piped music through speakers. No idea what this is about and why they do it.

Lots of the fields were being harvested today, so lots of dust blowing around. amazing to see them all do this. also lots of sunflowers about too, but just not out yet which is a real shame as it would have been lovely to have cycled through the fields and fields of them. Lots of fruit farms again, scenery a bit like Kent. Some nice long straight roads, so got up some good speed.

Arrived in Blois at an amazing hotel!!!! fantastic. totally our style lol. Our room is large with a comfy bed, the best bit is that the bathroom has loo paper and the toilet a seat!!! lol. little things.

It will be a shame to see Dave & Mike leave this weekend, we have had a lot of fun and banter .
