Priddy in a barn with 1 tech' 1990/1991

This was not really a rave as such, it was someone's birthday which we tried to take over. I think we went to Blades first then went on to this party afterwards. Parked the cars and walked to this small barn like thing which was more of a large garage. It was mostly crowded with goth's and metal heads, about 20 or so people there. The record players were set up at the back on a wobbly table. There was one record player and a old Tech' with a slight pitch control. Myself and Mike tried to mix, not very well and the people were not too happy about the change of music. I played some new records from London, a mixture of rough techno, "Tronic House-up tempo" and some more dancier stuff like "Dance Power" on City Beat records. Most of the mixes were spin backs, and the owners of the record players were not too happy about their parents equipment being trashed. "If you brake it you pay for it!". Fair enough. That was about it, nothing really happened, no lights, crappy speakers and it rained hard. I think it may have been mushroom season as well.
